We have been blessed this summer with some of the best weather I can remember. Every weekend the sun pops out and clouds are few and far between. After our May this year, I never thought I would be wanting rain but the grass is so dry and the flowers look like they are living in the desert that the occasional shower would be nice :-) This weather does lead to some great weekends though ones where friends visit and you don't have to worry about making inside plans for the kids because you know they are going to live outside.
It was so nice to have Heidi, Jeff, Peyton and Beckham up again for a visit. We have become creatures of habit where we spend the day on the lake, the mornings at Flavor Fruit Farm picking out goodies and snapping pics for a while, and spending the evening out at a local restaurant. This year we went to the Beach Bar at Clark Lake and sat outside by the water, while Beckham slept on a bench wiped out from the day. Too much fun that goes by way too fast with good friends!
YES YES YES....Flavor Fruit Farm has added Mexican Coke to their inventory. Could this be my idea of heaven bottled coke and donuts...I think so!
