Saturday, May 7th may have been my awakening...
For my birthday this year Tony paid for me to go to a photo workshop with one of my all time favorite local photographers, Jean Smith. It was like a two for one experience as her husband Travis who specializes in shooting models and seniors co-hosted the workshop with her.
Spent the day in Detroit with so many talented people who share the OCD nature I have to take the perfect picture. I learned that photography can just be like any other career, taking something you love and warping it into something that controls you.
It is amazing what you can learn in a day when your plugged in I truly feel that I shoved 3 years of a learning curve into a 14 hour day...time well spent, enough to keep my creative juices flowing for a year :-)
