Bowling for the Holidays

The holidays are all about our kids and one of the things on their list this year was to play with the Vigo boys. The Vigo's came back to Michigan for the Holidays and we got to spend a Sunday afternoon with Daniela's family. The boys are definitely growing up quick and even quicker since we only get to see them a couple times a year. Niko and Cam were born a couple weeks apart and have been the greatest of friends. Max came along a couple years later and I have the honor of being his Godmother. Max has a smile that lets you know he is always up to something. Krew was born a year before they left for Florida so he doesn't remember us but warms up easily. Daniela took care of Cait for almost her first 3 years, so that bond is so strong between the two of them. There were crazy disco lights and fun music which just added to all of the kids fun. It was a great day spent watching the kids laugh, fall down, and most of all help each other.

Holidays 2009

This year the Holidays were the two F's...fabulous and fast! We started them out as usual putting up the tree the day after Thanksgiving, watching National Lampoon's Christmas vacation (which Cam told me this year was an inappropriate movie for him and Cait)shopping the day after Thanksgiving with my mom (annual tradition)and wrapping presents all month long. Cait who wanted the Pink Ride on Mustang and Cam who had to have Spy Gear ATV was at the top of their Santa list and all they could talk about. I tried to enjoy every moment but each year they go by so fast. We made lots of cookies this year, went to church on Christmas Eve, read the night before Christmas and spent Christmas Day with all of the people we love...traditions that are so close to my heart! On Thanksgiving Day we always share what we are thankful for, I can't help to have this thought in my head everyday as I look at my babies who are growing up so quick. Cait told me that I was the best Mommy ever this month and Cam said if I let him stay up later and eat more candy...I would be the best Mommy to him. On the 28th of December we visited the dentist for a nice stainless steel crown for Cam...I think he has dropped the candy wish.
