Julie's wedding was this past Saturday and our good friend Kookie stole my camera from me...what resulted was these awesome pictures that I was actually in :-) Which never hapens. I love these pics...definitely going up on the wall somewhere. What an amazing day for Julie and Butch posting some of their pics tomorrow.
When it comes to life the quote above pretty much sums up my existance. I love the little things in life! The things my children do that make me smile or remind me of myself or Tony. The way someone can brighten your whole day and not even know it...life should be moments, glances, and memories. I have created this blog to capture as many as I can.

Yellow, Orange and Green
The most beautiful time of the year...Fall in Michigan. What a beautiful Thursday evening the way the sun was shining through the trees. The colors were so vibrant and amazing that I had to run down the driveway to snap a few pics when we got home from work before the sun officially went to sleep for the night. Love these leaves on the trees...oh but when they start falling to the ground :-(

How to plan a day...
So what do you do when someone turns 39, do you celebrate more then when they turn 40...since this is the last year you can officially call yourself 30? Being married to Tony definitely gives me a challenge...he really doesn't need anything other then his need for a plane...which I have no plans for something that is a big hole in the sky that I pour money into. So I really have to put my thinking hat on and try to create an experience each year. This year brought a cool massage on a Migun bed in Ann Arbor (hopefully the infrared therapy will help all his aches and pains that he now has from prior sins of the past), winemaking with our amazing friends Shelly and Brett at the Fenton Brewery and Winery, dinner at Melting Pot (Shelly, I dream of that chocolate!!!!), and to end the night at the Fox Theater getting to see one of our favorite comedians Chris Tucker.
We were late to everything but somehow fit everything in and had an amazing time doing it. Another year has gone by including another challenge to bring something special to him...a job well done! Now what to do for next year?????
Shelly and I doing the high five after we created our "Celebration" wine...now what to name our own concoction :-)
Brett hates when I take pictures of him, so most of the time I get shots of his back or his head down...but he does exist with his Notre Dame hat.

Look at the legs on him...
Who is this kid...where did he get theses legs from? He may look like Tony but he has my legs. Cam has grown up so much this year, personality and vertically.
We had him covered from head to toe, it was a windy 50 degree day and Cam has like 3% body fat so we have to layer him up. He has turned into quite a socer player in the last two years and a force to deal with on the defensive line. The new team this year has come together quite nicely and the boys are starting to get in their groove.

Benny's Bakery...can I get a pretzel?
What a way to spend a Wednesday morning..in a bakery with my baby girl! First field trip of the 1st grade school year, and it was amazing the sun, the moon and the stars aligned and I had an open schedule to attend. This field trip took us to our local bakery, and you obviously know my love affair with baked goods. Some girls like diamonds, some chocoloate, a few I knew can't live without ice cream...me its baked goods, they make my hear beat steadily. A good donut or a piece of pecan pie that makes this girl happy...Cait seems to be following in my foot steps, as the smiles were huge and the stomach was definitely growling.
Cait and Chloe...friends since they have been 2 at Bemis Farms
Steve the owner of Benny's and our tour guide/baker for the day
Cait gets picked to make the chocolate frosting because she knew that powdered sugar is aprimary ingredient :-)
yummy glaze for my favorite...honey dipped deliciousness
Learning how to make pretzels, haven't had a Benny's pretzel but it is definitely on my to do list
