The kids were dressed a little bit normal and it was beautiful outside...what a great Halloween!
When it comes to life the quote above pretty much sums up my existance. I love the little things in life! The things my children do that make me smile or remind me of myself or Tony. The way someone can brighten your whole day and not even know it...life should be moments, glances, and memories. I have created this blog to capture as many as I can.

Brains, Brains, Brains...
Halloween is a big event in our office and it is completely over the top. This year my department did Dead Celebrities and I was Zombie Papparazzi. I am not a big fan of Halloween as I am super scared actually :-) But for the love of my department...I always participate in a big way...which includes rolling around in dirt and putting fun makeup on. The kids wouldn't let me walk them into school though :-)

Some wine, a wedding, and some silliness by the water
A close friend of the family married in Sandusky this month. It was a gorgeous day and as we drove to Becca and Brian's wedding, Tony and I experienced a rare moment in our life...we had time to spare. If you know us this doesn't happen as we are almost late to everything, why kid myself we are late to everything. So we acted like grown ups that were kidless for the evening...a roadside winery called our name. This winery was unique as it had some of the greatest semi-sweet wines that I have ever tasted, and some of the weirdest reds that Tony and I have ever sampled. We walked away with 6 bottles (only 4 for us, 2 was for Kristen who loves sweet wines and it was her birthday that day)
The wedding was beautiful right by the water on a gorgeous day, some improptu fun from Tony and I that started the night out right. We might be getting older but we have never changed. The day ended with a beautiful fall sunset

Colorado flying pictures October 2010
While out in Colorado Tony took to the skies and was able to go over the Broncos stadium and all of the amazing mountains out there! It looks so beautiful out there with the blue skies and gorgeous terrain.
