Flying not walking in Memphis

Being married to a pilot has to be one of the coolest perks.  No matter where we go, there is always a local airport that will allow you to rent a Cessna so you can take a nice hour long flight overlooking the area.  Memphis is such a cool town and being able to buzz the Mississippi River, fly over Graceland, touch the sky of Arkansas, avoid a hawk coming right at you and deciding what sandbar to land on just in case makes the adventure exciting.

In 4 days the things you can do

Back To Memphis I went but this time with 200 additional people and my family in tow.  The Peabody has to be one of the coolest places to stay with the ducks, the awesome lobby, the southern charm and the amazing beds made this trip so much fun to do again.  We went to Itta Bena for lunch one day which is known for their blue windows and I loved the pictures I was able to take in there.  A stop at the Rock N Soul Museum where we learned so much history and a  great carriage ride with a driver who knew everything about the city.  My kids and parents loved Memphis and all it had to offer.

Hip Hop and Breakin

Well the day finally came where we spent months of practicing for the kids recital.  Cam decided in January that he wanted to learn how to dance so we enrolled him in a local place that taught BreakDancing and Hip Hop.  The kids did great and I am so proud of Cam and how he just loves to break it down any where :-)
