Life is better with a twist cone

I do what I can to make sure I always take time off to go on field trips with Cam.  For one I am a fun Mom and I try not to embarass my child, second this must be who I am because the kids beg me like crazy to go, third skipping work is pretty cool hanging out with ten year olds, lastly Greenfield Village is just so cool.  We had an amazing day and I only had three boys to educate which is exactly what we did since we had about 3 hours of assignments to complete.  We also had some fun buying candy, eating the BEST EVER yogurt, and enjoying the amazing weather.

  

 

 

The birthday that lasts two months!

Only Cait can pull this off, I have milked my birthday for years taken up the whole month of March if I can get a way with it...but she has taken it to new levels.  Since we were on the cruise for her birthday, she felt that she needed to have a friend birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.  So with our crazy schedules we were finally able to pull it off at 9:30am on a Saturday morning.  Which I might say is the best time ever to do a party there as nobody in there right mind is at that place at that time.

How good a win feels...

After three days of games including a 7am on Mother's Day...our boys clinched the title at the Novi Jaguar Tournament.  Every game was so close, stomach turning and edge of seat type of tension that it made for so much excitement.  The last game though made us sit back and relax a little bit as the boys won that game by a huge margin.  Cam played amazing on defense and always brought his best to every game.  To see that smile below sums up the endorphins that had to be running through his body.  The runner high that I experienced so many times as a teenager...where it just made you feel like you were invincible that you could go out there and do it again, I am pretty sure that was what was behind that smile of his.
